12-a-go

The neck of the lead tube is simply inserted into the end of the mechanical pencil - all twelve leads can be filled into STAEDTLER graphite 760, STAEDTLER Mars micro, STAEDTLER graphite 779 05/07 and STAEDTLER graphite 779 15 in one go.

Copy proof

The majority of highlighter colours either don't get recognised by photocopiers at all, meaning that highlights simply don't show up on the copies, or they merely appear as a thick black line.

However, with the STAEDTLER Textsurfer classic in violet and turquoise, both highlights and text remain clearly visible on the photocopies, too.

DRY SAFE

The end of dried-up pens and markers!

When creativity is flowing along smoothly, it sometimes happens that pens or markers don’t get recapped right away.

STAEDTLER’s innovative DRY SAFE ink technology makes it possible for our pens to lie uncapped for days at a time, without drying up. As such, the service life is increased considerably.

Indelible ink STAEDTLER products with indelible ink or paste (corresponding to ISO 14145-2 and ISO 12757-2 resp.) are lightfast, waterproof, water-drop-proof, chemical and solvent-resistant, smudge-proof and non-erasable.

This makes them ideal for use on cheques, documents and contracts.

Inkjet safe

Pigment inks are used in most inkjet printers.
Conventional highlighters loosen pigments from the paper, causing them to smudge.

The yellow STAEDTLER Textsurfer classic fixes the pigments.

Lightfastness Lightfast pens and markers excel by their high level of lightfastness. Writing is still clearly legible years later and some of the inks used for STAEDTLER products are lightfast for more than 7 years!

Locked tip Our STAEDTLER Lumocolor markers are equipped with either an locked bullet or chisel tip.

Even when subjected to extremely heavy writing pressure, the tip remains locked in place and cannot be pushed back into the barrel.

Non-permanent ink Non-permanent ink is water-soluble, i.e it wipes off easily with a damp cloth from closed surfaces such as glass, metal or plastic.

Non-permanent pens and markers are often used for making markings where permanence is not required or would be a drawback, as for example marking overhead transparencies or whiteboards.

Permanent ink

Permanent ink is waterproof, i.e. small corrections can be made, however, with STAEDTLER Mars plastic eraser.

Pigment ink

STAEDTLER pigment inks use high-grade pigments as colouring agents. Resin is necessary in order to obtain the desired water repellency. As a result of this composition, the inks are extremely lightfast and colourfast, waterproof and chemical-resistant.

Pigment ink is also used regularly in scrapbooking because it keeps its deep, rich colour longer than other inks.

Pocket-safe

The tip of STAEDTLER Mars micro mechanical pencil is retractable at the mere push of a button.

Ventilated cap

The STAEDTLER triplus color, STAEDTLER Noris Club fibre-tip pens with two tips, standard fibre-tip pens and jumbo colouring markers are equipped with ventilated caps (there is a little hole in the top of the cap) in accordance with ISO 11540 and BS 7272-1/2.
The ISO 11540 standard regulates the design of fibre-tip pen caps in order to prevent total blockage of the windpipe if a cap is swallowed by children.

This standard guarantees an air-permeability of at least 8 l/min and is meant for caps of fibre-tip pens whose diameter is smaller than 16 mm.
